Recap and Photos from NFD's Power Buy Day at Citi Field in Flushing, Queens [photos]
National Food Distributors hosted its annual Power Buy Day at Citi Field in Flushing, Queens this past Wednesday, March 20th, 2019. The event served as an opportunity for supermarket retailers and others to buy in on exclusive deals in produce, meat, seafood, and much more.
Vendors provided free food and NFD allowed attendees to enter multiple contests for vacation getaways. Vendors in attendance ranged from meat suppliers, real estate and retail service providers.
The event lasted from 11 AM to 5 PM EST. Throughout the day, Citi Field staff provided free tours of the stadium where attendees were able to visit everywhere from the dugout to official locker room of the New York Mets.
The show proved tremendously successful and strong in sales as NFD looks to continue hosting such shows for years to come.
